How tall was Red Buttons?

Though Red Buttons is best known by name as a stand-up comedian, he is also a successful songwriter, a recipient of the Academy Awards (who was nominated for two Golden Globe awards) and a successful rapper. Buttons, born Aaron Chwatt on the lower East side of the City of New York, started off his show career singing in street corners as a boy, and his name came from the uniform he wore while working as a singing bell seller. When he was 16, he took a job in the comedy event of the popular resort of Catskills, in New York City (the future actor Robert Alda was his partner). Buttons worked as a comic book on the burlesque circuit and also took a part in a 1942 Broadway, "Vicki."
