Richard Morgan Fliehr(born 25 February 1949), best known as Ric Flair, is an American professional wrestling promoter and former professional wrestler signed to the WWE under the legends system. Listed as the greatest professional wrestler of all time by multiple peers and journalists, Flair had a career which spanned 40 years. With Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), World Wrestling Federation (WWF, later WWE), and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), he is known for his tenures. He has been using the nickname "The Nature Boy" since the middle of the 1970s. A big pay-per-view draw during his career, Flair headlined ten times at Starrcade, the premier annual NWA / WCW event, while also co-headlining his WWF counterpart, WrestleMania, in 1992, after winning the Royal Rumble that year.
