Rick Hoffman was born in New York City, New York, June 12, 1970. Prior to his studies at Arizona University he was born in Roslyn Heights, New York. Rick went to Los Angeles to start his acting career after graduating from Arizona University. In Conspiracy Theory (1997) he took up his first role as a security guard. He flubbed his two lines too anxious. He was just so nervous. Fortunately, Julia Roberts, Richard Donner and the whole crew laughed at his misreading and were included in the final cut giving him the necessary attention.
