Raviv "Ricky" Ullman, is an Israeli-American actor, director, and musician. He is best known for playing Phil Diffy, the main character in the Disney Channel series Phil of the Future.Raviv Ullman was a teaching professor and physician Brian Ullman who were born in Israel to American parents. His family is Jewish, and Joseph Ehrenkranz was an orthodox rabbi for his motherly grandfather. His first professional role as Louis at The King and I (1956) national touring company. Raviv also performed musical and theatrical parts in several regional plays including "Dead End" at Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, Caliform. Raviv has worked in association with some of the major theater companies in New York including Roundabout, Atlantic, Second Stage and The New Company.He received a 1998-1999 Best Actor award nomination from the Connecticut Critics Circle Awards for his portrayal of Stanley in "A Rosen by Any Other Name."
