Robert Alan Krieger (born 8 January 1946) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter better known as the rock band guitarist The Doors; as such he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Krieger wrote or co-wrote many of the Doors songs including the hits "Light My Lamp," "Kiss Me Two Times," "Touch Me" and "Kiss Her Madly." Krieger began his singing and recording work with other artists after the Doors dissolved including fellow Doors bandmates John Densmore and Ray Manzarek. Rolling Stone has listed him as one of the 100 best guitarists of all time
