Roderick George "Roddy" Toombs (April 17, 1954 – July 31, 2015) was a Canadian professional wrestler and actor, better known by his ring name "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.Piper's association with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) between 1984 and 2000 was best known to international audiences in professional wrestling. Although he was Canadian, he was falsely billed as coming from Glasgow due to his Scottish heritage, and was known for his kilt signature and bagpipe entry music.
