Roger Robinson is a British writer, musician, and performer living between Trinidad and England. The coveted T was received by his book A Portable Paradise (Peepal Tree Press). S. Eliot Prize 2019 which was announced in January 2020 in London. After Derek Walcott who won the 2010 prize, he is the second writer of Caribbean descent to receive the prize, the highest interest honor in UK poetry.
