How tall was Ronald Lacey?
A prolific character actor for three decades on British tv, Ronald Lacey was born in London's suburbs on June 18, 1935. Following mandatory National Service he started his career in 1961. He attended The Music and Dramatic Art Academy in London. His first noteworthy performance was given in 1962 in "Chips With All" at The Royal Court Theatre. With beady eyes and cherub's lips, Lacey had an odd pug look that put him frequently in bizarre positions on both the stage and television. And it was his memorable sinister grin and odd mannerisms of Peter Lorre that would bring Lacey to Hollywood for a brief period of time.
