Sally Ann Matthews (born September 19, 1970) is an English actress known for her appearances in Coronation Street as Jenny Bradley and in Emmerdale as Sandra Briggs.Matthews joined the Emmerdale cast as farmer's wife Sandra Briggs in 2005 but left less than a year later. In a recent interview with Inside Soap, executive producer of the show, Kathleen Beedles, confessed casting Matthews, well-known to the Coronation Street soap viewers, was a mistake in what would eventually become a minor role.She also confirmed that she would like to see Matthews return to the show in future in some capacity. In February 2015, she was back on Coronation Street as Jenny.
