Sam Claflin is a British actor. He was born on June 27, 1986, in Ipswich, England. Claflin graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2009 and started his acting career on television. He gained recognition for his role as Philip Swift in the fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" (2011). He also played Finnick Odair in the "Hunger Games" film series and appeared in other movies such as "Snow White and the Huntsman" (2012), "Me Before You" (2016), and "Adrift" (2018). Claflin has been nominated for several awards, including a British Academy Film Award for his role in the television series "White Heat" (2012). He also was part of the famous TV show "Peaky Blinders".
