Sandahl Bergman was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on 14th November 1951. She then graduated in Prairie Village, Kansas, from Shawnee Mission East High School. When she was in her 20s, she moved to New York City, and appeared in a number of Bob Fosse films. Her film debut starred in his movie All That Jazz (1979). Sandahl starred later in Xanadu (1980), Conan the Barbaric (1982) and Red Sonja (1985).She performed all her own tricks in Conan the Barbarian (1982) because no woman who matched her height could be considered stunting. She was the first woman to have ever performed a romantic scene with Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was also the first star with whom she ever did a love scene
