The American women were considered to be the tallest women in the world during their lifetime in the Guinness World Records, Sandra Elaine Allen (18 June 1955 – 13 August 2008). She was 7 feet 7 inches (231 cms) tall.Allen wrote a book, Cast A Giant Shadow. Since 1976, he has been published in Guinness's World Books. Although other women have taken over the title over the years, Allen has held it for the past 16 years.
