His first song was "Oh Carolina" in 1933 a dancehall re-make of a hit by Folkes Brothers which appeared in the film Silver. Shaggy best music hits in his career as a singer from 1988-1991 were, It Wasn't Me, Boombastic, In the Summertime, Angel.
