How tall is Shane Black?
Considered one of the action genre's pioneer screenwriters, Black has made his mark with his script Deadly Weapon (1987). He also worked together on the sequel novel, Lethal Weapon 2 (1989).From The Last Boy Scout (1991) to The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996), and from a rewrite on the McTiernan / Schwarzenegger Last Action Hero (1993) script, every subsequent script that he turned in had a higher price attached to it. The $1.75 million he earned for his script for The Last Boy Scout (1991) in 1990 has been the largest to date. He then toped it by selling the screenplay a few years later to The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) for $4 million. These were box-office disappointments that were only released on home video to cult viewers.
