Shawn Pyfrom was born on August 16, 1986, in Tampa, Florida, USA.His maternal grandfather was of half Italian and half Hungarian ancestry. His other roots are German, English, Dutch, French, Welsh, Irish, and Scottish. Shawn's paternal great-grandfather was born in the Bahamas, where his Anglo family lived for many generations. Shawn appeared in the Walt Disney Pictures film The Shaggy Dog (2006) opposite Tim Allen and Kristin Davis, and the film The Darkroom (2007) opposite Erin Foster. He is best known for his recurring role as Andrew Van de Kamp, the son of Bree Van de Kamp (Marcia Cross) and the late Rex Van de Kamp (Steven Culp) on ABC's Desperate Housewives.
