How tall is Shelley Duvall?
Shelley Alexis Duvall was born to Bobbie Ruth (Massengale), and Robert Richardson Duvall, an attorney, in Fort Worth, Texas. Her mother was visiting her grandparents in Fort Worth at the time of her birth, while Duvall had been growing up in Houston. Shelley's mother has humorously assigned Shelley the nickname "Manic Mouse" since her youth, as she will sometimes race around her house and knock over furniture.Shelley graduated from Texas 'Waltrip High School, and was a makeup salesperson at first. It was at a local gathering when Shelley was spotted in 1970 by talent scouts. Director Robert Altman decided to cast Shelley in a movie he'd made around that period. Around the moment, Shelley had experience performing in high school plays and accepted the proposition from Altman and she starred in her first film Brewster McCloud.
