She had a guest appearance on the tv show Naturally, Sadie, and played Darcy Edwards for four seasons on Degrassi: The Next Generation.Starting with a recurring appearance in 2004, Grimes was a main character on Degrassi: the Next Generation played Darcy Edwards ' part in 2006. Since being cast as Annie Wilson in 90210, the CW's Beverly Hills spin-off, 90210, Grimes departed the network and Canada in 2008.
