Siouxsie Sioux was born in London, England, to Susan Ballion, a Belgian walloon father and an English-Scottish mother, founding singer of Siouxsie and the Banshies (1976-1996), one of the first punk bands. In recent years the band has grown from punk, goth and psychedelia to an easier-to-use ring. On the first Lollapalooza tour the band performed Batman Returns (1992) and Showgirls (1995). The original tracks were introduced.After a twenty-year career, over a dozen diverse albums, and amassing a huge cult following, the group disbanded in April 1996 just as the Sex Pistols, their original inspiration, decided to cash in on the recent interest in punk music and tour again.
