Skandar Amin Casper Keynes (born September 5, 1991) is an English actor best known as Edmund Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia's 2005 film adaptation: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He appeared in Edmund's part in the film's sequels The Narnia Chronicles: Prince Caspian, and The Narnia Chronicles: The Dawn Treader's Voyage.Keynes was born to the writer Randal Keynes and Zelfa Cecil Hourani in London, and has a sister named Soumaya. By his father Keynes is the renowned scientist Charles Darwin's great - great grandson. In 1932, his paternal ancestor, Edgar Douglas Adrian, 1st Baron Adrian, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
