Skylar Kierra Diggins-Smith (born 2 August 1990) is a female American basketball player in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) with the Phoenix Mercury. Diggins was selected 3rd overall in the 2013 WNBA Draft by the Tulsa Shock. She was the National Gatorade Student of the Year in high school, the Gatorade Female Athlete of the Year, and an All-American from McDonald. Diggins-Smith was born in Indiana, in the South Bend. She is Tige Diggins 'aunt and Renee Scott, and Sarah Diggins' step-daughter and Maurice Scott's. Diggins-Smith has three younger sisters, Tige, Destyn, and Maurice, and Hanneaf has one younger sibling. She was also taught to play softball.
