How tall is Sloane Stephens?
Sloane Stephens (born 20 March 1993) is a professional American tennis player. After Wimbledon in 2018 she reached a career-best ranking of No. 3 in the world. Stephens was the winner of the US Open in 2017, winning six WTA single titles in total. Stephens was born to competitive parents with roots in college swimming and professional American football, and was exposed to tennis at the club across the street from her Fresno, California home. Her stepfather was a competitive competitor in recreational tennis, and served as her main inspiration to continue playing the sport. Stephens traveled to Florida to study at a tennis school, ending up partnering for five years with Nick Saviano. She grew into a talented junior player, reaching a world No. 5 career-high ITF junior ranking and won three out of four Grand Slam girls' doubles titles in 2010.
