Stephanie Rose McGovern (born 31 May 1982) is an English writer and TV presenter. She previously worked for the BBC as BBC Breakfast's main business anchor, also co-hosting the whole show. She revealed in October 2019 that she would leave BBC Breakfast and will go to Channel 4 to show Steph's Talks.In 1998, she received an Arkwright Engineering Scholarship at the outset of her sixth form studies for her ability to become a future leader in the engineering industry. She studied algebra, astronomy, digital technology and business studies in the sixth form from 1998–2000
