Sir Steven Geoffrey Redgrave CBE DL (born 23 March 1962) is a retired British rower who won gold at five consecutive Olympic Games between 1984 and 2000. He's since won three gold medals at the Commonwealth Games and nine golds at the World Rowing Championships. He is the most successful male rower in Olympic history, and the only man to have won gold medals in an endurance sport at five Olympic Games.
