Steven Siro Vai is a US guitarist, songwriter, composer, author and singer. Vai started his musical career in 1978 at the age of 18 as a Transcriptist for Frank Zappa, and was the three time Grammy Award recipient and fifteen times nominee. He was played in Zappa's band from 1980 to 1983.
