Steven Hartley is one of British Television, Film and Radio's Best Known personalities and voices. Steven was raised in Yorkshire and has been recognised globally for his work in film, television and theatre. Steven graduated at LAMDA in 1981-1984 and has been employed ever since, becoming a frequent figure in British television and acting in film and theater in several varied and celebrated roles in the United Kingdom and the United States.Auditioned to be the next James Bond after the contract with Roger Moore had run out in 1985. At 25 he was considered too young for the role. Laboured on a construction site in the 1990s, when the work began drying up. Was an amateur boxer in late 1970s and early 1980s representing York and Yorkshire.
