Tamara Janice Dobson (May 14, 1947-October 2, 2006) was an American fashion designer and actress. Dobson is best known for her title role as secret agent Cleopatra "Cleo" Jones in the 1973 Blaxploitation film Cleopatra Jones and its 1975 sequel Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold. After graduation, Dobson moved to New York from Maryland for full-time modeling and acting. Sometime during her early modeling career, Dobson posed for Jet Magazine. In addition to posing for Essence magazine, Dobson later became a fashion model for Vogue Magazine ....
