Leslie Wunderman,(New York; March 7, 1962) known by her stage name as Taylor Dayne, she is an American singer. She had a remarkably rapid rise in the late 1980s, becoming in the Top Ten sales with her second single (the first as Taylor Dayne), Tell It to My Heart. Dayne began singing professionally after graduating from high school, performing with the rock group called Felony and a new wave group called Next, although neither band was successful.Once she finished college, she started singing as a soloist. Her first attempt, in 1985, with Mega Bolt Records, was an interpretation of the song "I'm The One You Want", with the pseudonym "Les Lee". In 1986 she even recorded "Tell Me Can You Love Me". In 1987 the song "Tell It to My Heart" was released, with Arista Records, becoming a hit.In February 2008 she released her first album in a decade entitled "Satisfied." The first single Due Beautiful reached number 1 on the list of dance singles in the United States.
