Thea Louise Gill (born 5 April 1970) is a Canadian actress better known as Lindsay Peterson in the Queer as Folk showtime television series for her starring role.Gill lived in Toronto after graduating from York and spent the next five years working in theater, guest roles in tv shows, advertisements and several film roles. Gill's big break came in the year 2000 when she auditioned for and earned Lindsay Peterson's part as Folk in Queer. Gill retained the position in Queer's five-season run as People. Gill moved from Toronto to Victoria, British Columbia, in 2001. Gill has played a variety of stage, tv, and film roles since the end of Queer as Folk. She joined the cast of the here in 2006! Original network show Dante's Cove, billed as a ' special guest star ' in Diana Childs ' role.
