How tall is Tina Louise?
Raised in New York City, Tina Louise was the daughter of Sylvia (Horn) and Joseph Blacker, who owned a candy shop. Tina was still in her teens when, based on the popular comic strip character created by Al Capp, she broke onto the national scene by performing on Broadway in the critically praised box office hit "Li'l Abner." Stellar reviews caught Hollywood's eye, and Tina signed up for her first feature film, God's Little Acre (1958), which became a Venice Film Festival nominee. It was at this stage in her life that she decided to work with Lee Strasberg and the New York Actors Studio as she felt that it was "time for me to grow and improve my understanding of the art.
