Tom Hollander, both teachers, was born the second child of educated parents. He grew up in Oxford, (Great Britain). Hollander attributes his childhood exposure to acting to the positive environment of the Dragon School. There, he won the title role in "Oliver" promoted by an influential teacher named Andrew Roberts. His studies at Abingdon continued, as did his pursuit of acting.
