Traci Lords is a profile of a driven and dynamic woman whose history is quite divisive. She was born and raised in Ohio as Nora Louise Kuzma, to Louis Kuzma and Patricia Louise (Kuzma). At age 12 she moved to Los Angeles with her estranged mother and three children. When she was living at her mother's boyfriend's place, Roger, she started posing nude at age 15, then a year later she started making pornographic films. An extremely formed, full-figured girl, she quickly duped photographers, producers and directors (using a false birth certificate and driver's license). Her stage name is a mix of Traci, a childhood school classmate, and Lords, in memory of Jack Lord, her beloved male star (Hawaii Five-O (1968).
