How tall is Vincent Gallo?
Gallo: Vincent. American born, 1961 in Buffalo, New York. Left house, moved to New York City in 1978, and began performing with artist Jean Michel Basquiat in the experimental musical collective, Gray. Upon leaving Gray, he formed the band, Bohack, and recorded "It Took Many Wives," the widely regarded avant-garde industrial noise album. Gallo also became known in New York City around the same time for his very unique street shows, which were unexpectedly performed in public and often witnessed by invited visitors in the area. To name a couple, the One-Armed Man, the Man with No Head, Sandman, Boy Hit by a Driver, and Boy Cries in Restaurant Window. Such revolutionary public appearances were unsettling and shocking, and were meant to stimulate thought, self-reflection and consciousness. Within this wider public sense Gallo's invited visitors could witness the effects of his performance.
