Over 120 film and TV roles were made by Vincent Schiavelli, named in 1997 by the Vanity Fair as one of the best character actors in America. He practiced theater production in NYU. In addition to his work as a director, Vincent has written a number of publications on food for magazines and newspapers and has written three cookbooks. He was awarded the James Beard Reporting Prize in 2001.
