Olubowale Victor Akintimehin (born on 21 September 1984) is a rapper from the USA better known by his stage name Wale(' Wale'). His song "Dig Dug (Shake It)" became popular in his home town in 2006. He first became famous. To local audiences Wale was known locally and started recording music.Producer Mark Ronson found Wale in 2006 and signed it in 2007 at Allido Records. After signing up for this label, Wale released numerous mixtapes and published several black American-focused magazines in the national media, including MTV. The famous 2008 Saints Row 2 video game featured a song called "Ridin' in That Black Joint."
