Warren Mitchell was born as Warren Misell on 14 January 1926 in Stoke Newington, London. Popular for The Walking Eye (1958), Jabberwocky (1977), and Carry on Cleo (1964), he was an actor. He was already married to Constance Wake. He died in Highgate, London on 14 November 2015.His enormous reputation as the bigoted "Alf Garnett" character in Till Death Us Do Part (1965), led to the birth of his American cousin series, All in the Family (1971), in 1972 and his "Alf" equivalent, "Archie Bunker," whom Carroll O'Connor performed with equal success.
