On 29 July 1972 Wil Wheaton was born in Burbank, California, to Richard William Wheaton III. In his first film Rob Reiner, Stand by Me (1986), he gained international recognition. He played Wesley Crusher for three and one quarter seasons in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987).For eighteen months Wheaton left the Hollywood stage to conduct personal video. Though, for an occasional episode he has come back to "Star Trek," every now and then. He then went back to California's Los Angeles, completed a five year acting school, and now works on several projects. With his wife Anne and her two daughters, he lives in Arcadia, California.
