Screenwriter, journalist, playwright, and author of non-fiction. His career as a author started in 1957, when he was born in Highland Park, Illinois. Began writing screenplays for "Masquerade" in 1965. A twice Academy Award recipient, he is one of Hollywood's most prolific screenwriters and screenplay physicians.A sequel to his popular (some would say infamous) 1982 novel "Adventures in the Screen Trade" was released in 2000, titled "What Lie Did I Tell? ». Wrote a script that was not used for Mission: Impossible II (2000) In the end, the task was passed to Robert Towne. Goldman scored two jobs following the end of his 27-year marriage and most middle-aged people will die for it. During the same year he was the first male ever to judge both the Cannes Film Festival and the Miss America Pageant. He has recorded his experiences in a now out - of-print autobiography, Hype and Glory.
