How tall is Babe Ruth?
George Herman "Babe" Ruth Jr. (February 6, 1895-August 16, 1948) was an American professional baseball player whose career spanned 22 seasons in the Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1914 to 1935. He started his MLB career as a left-handed star pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, dubbed "The Bambino" and "The Sultan of Swat," but gained his greatest renown as a sluggish outfielder for New York Yankees. Ruth set many MLB hitting (and some pitching) milestones, including career home runs (714), batted runs in (RBIs) (2.213), ball bases (2.062), slugging percentage (.690), and on-base plus slugging (OPS) (1.164); the latter two are still in 2019. Ruth is considered one of the best sporting icons of American culture, and many consider him the greatest baseball player of all.
