William Bellamy (born April 7, 1965) is an American comedian and stand-up performer. Bellamy first achieved national popularity on HBO's Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam, where he's credited with producing or coining the term "booty call," described as a late night call to a possible paramour with the intention of meeting solely with sex. Bellamy has been a regular on MTV for several years, a VJ and the presenter of many MTV shows, including MTV Jamz and MTV Beach House. He acted in many films including Fled, Love Jones, The Friends, How to Be a Professional, Being Played and Every Given Sunday.
