Irish comedian Dylan Moran, born in 1971 in Navan, County Meath. Leaving school at age 16 without any training, Moran quickly became addicted to stand-up comedy and debuted at a Dublin comedy club, The Comedy Cellar, in 1992.A year later, at the Edinburgh Festival, he received the Channel Four comedy newcomer's "How You Think You're Funny" prize, and began developing his comedy routines into a one-man show, "Gurgling for Gold," for which he won the coveted Perrier Comedy Prize in 1996, and which he later went on a national UK tour.
