How tall was Hugh Marlowe?

Marlowe was born in Philadelphia to Hugh Hipple, and began his stage career in the California Pasadena Playhouse in the 1930s. With credits including off-Broadway productions of "The Deer Park" in 1967, and "All My Sons" in 1974, he performed extensively on radio, stage, television and film.A former radio announcer, he began his acting career in the early 1930's at the Pasadena Playhouse. He served as a second lead in the 1950s at 20th Century Fox and reprised his previous Ellery Queen radio role for a 1954 syndicated television series.
