The retired English footballer and manager who played as a goalkeeper is John Charlton OBE DL (b. 8 May 1935). He belonged to England's 1966 World Cup winning team. Having spent all of his club career at Leeds United from 1950 to 1973 supporting him with title to the Second Division (1963–64), title for the First Division (1968–69).
