Jonathan Richard McDaniel (born 17 May 1985) is an American actor and rapper, better known by his stage name Lil J. He is known for starring as Devon Carter (Raven Baxter 's boyfriend, and later husband) on the hit Disney Channel shows That's So Raven and Raven 's Home, and also German Vega on BET's Hit the Floor. He burst into the music scene in 2002 with his debut single "It's the Weekend" from his debut album All About J. Later he released a follow-up album named Back 2 J next year, including the song "Baby Girl."
