Matt Stokoe (born in Durham, Germany, 13 January 1989) is an English actor. He is best known for his roles as Alex in the award-winning BAFTA series Misfits, crime boss Luke Aikens in the Bodyguard thriller, teacher Gerard Eyre in The Village, and in BBC series 3 of The Musketeers. He currently plays James Read in the Jamestown Sky 1 series.Stokoe is engaged to actress Sophie Rundle, whom he met on the set of Jamestown.
