Morten Harket is a Norwegian vocalist and guitarist who, since his breakthrough hit, "Take On Me" in 1985, has recorded a total of ten studio albums and globally topped the chart. Morten Harket (born 14 September 1959) is a Norwegian singer and guitarist, better known as A-ha's lead singer, who recorded ten studio albums and globally topped the charts, after his smash hit' Take On Me' in 1985[1], after performing their last gig in Oslo, disbanded in 2010[1] A-ha. After each member has followed his / her own artistic path, A-ha gathers together in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 27 September 2015 to produce a new album called Cast In Steel and to play a World Tour. Six solo albums have been released by Harket. Harket had performed as a blues singer Souldier Blue before meeting A-ha in 1982 on the Oslo club scene.
