Theodore Martin ' Ted ' McGinley was born in Newport Beach, California, on 30 May 1958. He is perhaps best known for his long-running appearances in the Happy Days (1974) TV series, The Love Boat (1977), Dynasty (1981), Married ... Woman (1987) and the Universe (1999).The seasoned television star, however, is also no newcomer to film, having starred in a series of films including Young Doctors in Love (1982), Vengeance of the Nerds (1984), Wayne's World 2 (1993), Big League: Back to the Minors (1998) and Pearl Harbor (2001).
