Brooke Kinsella MBE (born 1983) is a British crime activist, actor, journalist, and anti-knife. Kinsella, a graduate of the Anna Scher Theater Program, has performed since childhood. She has had several roles on TV and in film. Her most notable role is that of Kelly Taylor who was starred between 2001 and 2004 in the long-running soap opera of BBC, EastEnders. She has her own department of drama called True Stars Academy. Kinsella's family made headlines in the British press in 2008 when her half-brother, Ben, was murdered in June 2008 and stabbed to death. Hundreds of people marched in London after his death along with Kinsella over knife fatalities.
