Her best known roles were undoubtedly her first and last one; she made her debut on Kolchak as the recurring character of semi-competent yet likable intern Monique Marmelstein: The Night Stalker. More than three decades on, and numerous supporting roles on, her level of popularity was undoubtedly dramatically increased for her supplying the voice of the unknown character, Mrs. Wolowitz, mother of Howard Wolowitz, on The Big Bang Theory television show.
