How tall was Brian Keith?
Robert Keith, son of character actor, and Helena Shipman, stage actress. He and his parents grew up on the road as they played in films. First appeared with his father at age 3 in film Pied Piper Malone (1924). Before the Second World War, he started to perform in radio programs and on stage. He entered the Marines and worked as a machine gunner. After the fight, he returned to the Broadway stage and branched out into TV and film. Served in many films as an extra until he gained speaking roles and eventual stardom. Had four biological kids (Michael, Mimi, Robert and Daisy) and three adopted (Barbara, Betty and Rory) babies. His first childhood friend, Anthony, died in 1963. His 27-year-old girlfriend, Daisy Keith, committed suicide 10 weeks before her father faced terminal cancer. His father and grandfather were named after his uncle, Robert.
