Michael Gregory Mizanin (born 8 October 1980) is a professional American wrestler, actor, and media personality. He is currently signed to WWE, where he works professionally under the ring name The Miz on the SmackDown brand, where he is one-half of the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions with John Morrison in his second reign, and their first reign as a tag team.Mizanin had first gained fame as a contestant in reality television. He was a cast member on MTV's The Real World: Back to New York in 2001, and subsequently starred in his spinoff series, Real World / Road Rules Challenge from 2002 to 2005, where he reached the finals in The Gauntlet and The Inferno while winning Battle of the Seasons and The Inferno II.
